Festival del Niño at the National Museum of Mexican Art

Join us in celebrating our community’s children and promoting healthy and active lifestyles at the Festival del Niño on Saturday, June 17. The family-friendly day features hands-on art activities, including cardboard world; music and dance performances; carnival games; physical activities, including horse-stick rodeos and obstacle courses; wellness education activities; and health screenings. Visit the UI Health wellness booths for children’s body mass index screenings; pediatric dental oral hygiene health education; to learn about medication safety and measurements; and occupational therapy exercises for children. Parents can benefit from stroke education; blood pressure screenings; information about our Spanish Kidney Transplant Clinic; lung cancer screenings; breast cancer education and referrals; hypertension; and cardiology specialists.
