Dr. Ivo G. Tzvetanov is chief of the Division of Transplantation at UI Health. Passionate about his role in patients' lives, Dr. Tzvetanov has a personal goal to provide the highest quality care using state-of-the-art surgical techniques, and he thrives to treat each individual patient with respect and compassion. He is board-certified in general surgery and is accredited by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS), and he has an extensive list of original scientific publications on the topic of abdominal organ transplantation. Dr. Tzvetanov holds the Carl H. and Billie M. Frese and Gerald S. Moss Professor in Transplant Surgery
