Dr. Mahsa Chitsaz practices in the Division of Pathology at UI Health. Dr. Chitsaz provides diagnostic services in both cancerous and non-cancerous conditions through surgical and cytopathology. By examining tissue and cell samples under the microscope, she helps patients and their care teams better understand a variety of diseases, including many types of cancer. Dr. Chitsaz’s clinical focus includes gynecologic, genitourinary, and breast pathology, and she is experienced in evaluating biopsy and cytology samples to detect early signs of disease using minimally invasive methods. She works closely with other healthcare providers to ensure that each patient receives timely, personalized care. Whether confirming a diagnosis or helping guide treatment decisions, she strives to support each patient’s journey toward better health with precision and compassion.
