Dr. Marko Rojnica practices in the Division of Pediatric Surgery at UI Health. Dr. Rojnica specializes in the surgical treatment of a number of abdominal and chest problems in children, from birth to young adulthood. His clinical interests include in caring for children with birth defects; hernias; intestinal, lung, and esophagus issues; chest wall deformities; and children with tumors of the abdomen and chest. Patient and family communication, education, and participation are critical parts of Dr. Rojnica's practice and provide the cornerstone for healing. His other areas of interest include surgical innovation and surgical education of students and residents.
