Dr. Matt Moynihan practices in the Department of Anesthesiology Pain Management at UI Health. Dr. Moynihan specializes in interventional pain management, with a focus on using many different forms of treatment to address chronic pain, including interventional procedures, physical rehabilitation, psychological therapies, and medication management. His special interests include steroid injections, nerve blocks and ablations, peripheral nerve stimulation, spinal cord stimulation, and minimally invasive spinal surgeries. Dr. Moynihan understands that chronic pain often has many causes and can affect every aspect of a patient's life, and his goal is to discover and understand the true source of pain in determining his treatment plans.
