Melissa House is a certified nurse-midwife in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at UI Health. Melissa practices full-scope midwifery care of low-risk pregnant women and gynecologic care of all ages. Her goals and objectives as a clinician are to provide excellent quality care and to be a safe provider for her patients. She is very passionate about women’s health, and it is her honor and privilege to be a women’s health care provider and a midwife. She works to honor and protect the normal physiology of birth, and she strives to improve health outcomes, decrease disparities, and improve healthcare access for all.
