Dr. Robert Sargis practices in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at UI Health. Dr. Sargis' clinical practice focuses on the care of patients with diabetes and lipid disorders, and those experiencing hormonal abnormalities stemming from anti-cancer treatments. He has clinical and research interests in patients with diabetes and other endocrine disorders arising from environmental and occupational exposures. Dr. Sargis is deeply devoted to patient-centered care that emphasizes the importance of communication and a strong patient-physician alliance. Building clinical relationships upon trust and mutual understanding, he strives to empower patients to manage their medical conditions.
