Dr. Sagar Harwani is the Chief Quality Officer at UI Health. As CQO, Dr. Harwani provides direction and oversight for Clinical Documentation Improvement, Quality Performance & Improvement, Health Information Management, and Risk Management & Patient Safety. He also oversees quality programs and development of systems to improve the integration of care across UI Health, including processes that emphasize teamwork, measurement, and accountability. Dr. Harwani is an internal medicine physician and provides inpatient care to patients at the University of Illinois Hospital. He is director of Clinical Informatics in the Department of Medicine and an assistant professor of Clinical Medicine in the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
