Dr. Sarah Werner practices in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the Division of Hematology & Oncology at UI Health. Dr. Werner is passionate about caring for individuals facing gynecologic cancers with compassion, expertise, and respect. She believes every patient is more than their diagnosis, and strives to care for the whole person throughout their cancer journey. 

Dr. Werner’s clinical focus is in gynecologic oncology, where she provides comprehensive care that includes surgery, chemotherapy, and coordination of supportive services. She works closely with each patient and their loved ones to ensure they feel informed, supported, and empowered in every decision. She is dedicated to listening, answering questions, and tailoring treatment plans to each person’s unique needs and values, and her goal is to provide evidence-based cancer treatment while also prioritizing quality of life, offering hope, and serving as a consistent partner to patients and their families throughout the course of their care.
