The University of Illinois Hospital & Clinics (UI Health) provides care, education, and research to train healthcare leaders and foster healthy communities in Illinois and beyond. UI Health is a part of the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) and is Chicago’s only public academic health center.
UI Health clinical experts can provide insights on local, national, and global health and medical news stories and trending topics.
UIC University Communications is the designated public information resource for UI Health. Members of the University Communications team are available to assist members of the news media who are looking for information about UI Health or for expert comments, and to help arrange on-campus interviews and filming or photography opportunities. News media are not permitted inside UI Health facilities unless approved by UI Health leadership and accompanied by University Communications.
