As a Joint Commission Accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center, we provide state-of-the-art stroke care, supported by a dedicated Acute Stroke Team and neuro-intensive care beds available 24/7. UI Health is one of the largest Neurological Intensive Care Units relative to hospital size in Chicago. Here, the team is highly skilled in a variety of endovascular procedures like cerebral revascularization that restores blood flow to the brain for those diagnosed with conditions like Moyamoya Disease.
