Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation

The Sports Medicine Program at UI Health is designed to offer comprehensive care for the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for patients of all ages and skill levels. Our physicians utilize the latest techniques to speed your healing and help you return to your peak performance with minimal downtime. The Sports Medicine team specializes in treating all sports injuries and conditions, including:

  • Knee pains and injuries
  • Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears
  • Shoulder dislocations and tears
  • Hip injuries and labral tears
  • Rotator cuff disorders
  • Tendinitis

Under the direction of Dr. Mark Hutchinson, the Sports Medicine Program is supported by a multidisciplinary team of sports medicine specialists, orthopaedic surgeons, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and fitness experts who develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
