Frequently Asked Questions

  • How can I access my EpicCare Link account if I forgot my username, password, or both?
    Contact your site administrator for assistance. For security reasons, UI Health cannot add new users, restore accounts, or reset passwords.  This must be done by your site administrator. If you do not know your site administrator’s information, work with a colleague to access EpicCare Link and refer to the list of site administrators on the home page.
  • I’m a research monitor and need my password to be reset.
    Reach out to research coordinators for help resetting the password.
  • Unable to find a patient on the patient list?
    Click on the patient option and navigate to ‘Search All Patients’, then type in the last and first name, complete the other required fields, and click on ‘Search.’
  • I’m a research monitor, and I’m unable to view patients.
    Reach out to research coordinators for further assistance.
  • What is a site administrator?
    • Each organization must designate at least two individuals to act as site administrators upon initial setup.
    • Site administrators are responsible for managing all users at your organization, including password resets and adding or removing users.
  • What are the steps to enrollment?
    • Complete the online application for access here.
      Ensure that the UI Health EpicCare Link Access Agreement is completed fully, accurately, and signed by an authorized representative at your organization.
    • You will receive an email within five business days, including follow-up instructions.
    • Please allow up to several weeks for processing and any necessary additional steps.
  • How do I know if UI Health EpicCare Link is appropriate for me?
    • UI Health EpicCare Link is for external referring providers, payers, and post-acute care providers that currently use any EHR other than Epic.
    • External organizations that use Epic should explore utilizing Care Everywhere.
  • My organization already has access to EpicCare Link, but I don’t have a login, or I’m unsure whether my organization has an account.
